I realised how enjoyable it is to watch a movie at the cinema alone ( ^ - ^ )v And the best part is, it's not done to de-stress or anything, but that it was an impromptu decision. I wanted to watch "Despicable Me" at the cinema, so I just went ahead and watched it alone!

I guess there must be some kind of label tagged onto watching a movie in a cinema alone, because Baobao kept asking if I was okay, 面包 asked if I was 'emo', Eezaii said it was exciting, and E was also surprised that I went alone. In addition, I think I was probably the only person in the cinema who went alone as everyone else in the theatre seemed to have company. Personally though, I think it's perfectly normal to go to a cinema alone. There's no need to go alone only when one feels upset, or stressed, and it's not really exciting either. In fact, it was so enjoyable that I will probably do it again, if cinema tickets aren't so expensive! ( > - < )"

I suppose this aspect of me is one of the reasons why I can work alone in the lab or clay studio for one whole day/night without talking to anyone. At least that's the theory I came up with after convincing Baobao that I really am okay. I realised that I enjoy time alone as much as I enjoy time spent with family/friends. And not opening my mouth to talk for one whole day, I'm completely okay with that too! ( ^-^ )

Today I met up with ZJ, my primary school friend. I'm really thankful that we are able to meet again after so many years! It started out pretty awkward, as we haven't met for a really really long time, but I think we warmed up gradually over time. Yaa~ Yokatta na~ I really hope that we can meet up again. (^0^)

Right, onto Day 6 of the trip! (I've finished using all 5 嵐 colours, so I'll go back to blue again!)

Day 6: Sapporo and Furano
28 June, 2010

Welcome to Furano~ (n__n)

(Wow, photo came out REALLY huge) Anyway, yes, we were stranded after we visited the wine factory because the taxi left. However, the scenery was really pretty with the blue blue sky and the green green rural landscape, so I didn't mind having to walk back to the train station.

I can't deny that I am feeling slight irritation at this point. I was almost done posting, but accidentally clicked a link to another web, and everything was lost. But since I was the one who made that mistake, I don't have the right to go "Rawr!" I suppose. Oh well! The post was recovered until this photo, which is good, since this is a 背影 photo. The way Teekaywhy twisted her body to find something in her bag, the way Tst walked in front to lead the way...every such photo has a story behind it, and I do believe that it's more for the viewer to come up with the story than for the actual story to be told. (^-^)

Because we had time before the train to Farm Tomita arrived, we went to the Cheese and Ice Cream factory! Sampling is always fun, and I think that the cuttlefish ink cheese is going to taste great in cheese ramen (^-^). Also had rich Hokkaido milk...Yum!

Farm Tomita at Furano famous for its lavender fields! I can only think of "Colourful" to describe it. And although I'm not a fan of lavender scents (especially those handwash), I truly like the soft scent of lavender lingering in the air. And the weather, though way to hot for Hokkaido, gave the perfect lighting to our visit.

Tst folded his jeans for the sake of fashion (like how I saw many Japanese guys do), and Teekaywhy said he looked cool. Teekaywhy folded her jeans because she felt too warm, and said that she looked like she forgot to fold it down after a visit to a wet toilet. I am truly amused. (^3^)

¥250 per piece rock melon. Said melon was supposed to be really sweet. Hot weather. We tried. It definitely cooled us down, but it's as sweet as any rock melon you eat here. Purpose was achieved though. (^-^)v

Scenery from the train ride back to Sapporo. I like the boys cycling photo quite a lot - it's gives a very carefree, familiar feeling of going home after school.

Because the ride was super long, and my DS lite had no more battery, I entertained myself with a random sketch and messing with my digicam. :)

1600hr lunch at Sapporo station when we arrived. Top: Beef curry rice; Bottom: Oyakodon. Did I mention before? I LOVE curry rice

Sadly, by the time we reached the beer museum, it's already closed (><") Bye-bye to my Sapporo Classic beer.

Tried another ramen store at Ramen Yokocho. This time, it was cho umai! (Don't you agree "umai" instead of "oishii" should be used with ramen? It's a pretty 'manly' food) *Thumbs up (^-^)b*

That's from me today! Oyasumi! :D
