難しい〜 ><" I can't seem to pronounce 「オーストラリア」right when it's my turn to read out loud in class. Then, sensei told us to go home and repeat it 10x, or the unspoken 'until (we) get it right'. Yes. It was the same for me in U of M. Argh! So I shall randomly say 「オーストラリア」for the rest of the week, then I'll get it right in class next weekend, ne? ^^"

I think I should start blogging randomly in Japanese again, since it definitely helped the last time I did that in U of M. Then again, I've learnt a lot more then, and I feel that I don't know much sentence structure now, as compared to a year ago. How How How How How! O_O (At least I've learnt that I'm 宿借っぽい in class today, because according to sensei, my bag seemed larger than me! Then the previous time, I've learnt what a 消しゴム is...)

Sigh. I must buck up... o(º _ º)/



 

Went to Shin Minori with my teammates for Japanese ala-carte buffet dinner to celebrate CH's birthday (Happy birthday CH! ^^) Atmosphere and company was good, but food was... maa maa desu. In the end, I focused on the edamame, the pickled kyuuri, and the grilled saba. ><" Nope, I don't recommend going there, unless you can eat sashimi till your money's worth!

Then after that, I went with SS to Bugis to watch the korean movie, "Cyrano Agency: Dating Guru Movie". To be honest, it was randomly chosen as our choice of movie because: (1) I only had Shaw tickets; (2) Shaw has limited movies. And the rest of the story? I'm sure you can piece it yourself ^^ Surprisingly, this movie is awesome! Not only did we have a good laugh, some parts were also very touching! Yadda Yadda...I'm sure I can go on talking about it if it's not so late now.

Tomorrow I have dental appointment early in the morning, hence I'm not going to elaborate on the movie. Go watch it instead, and find out for yourself :D And then, I'd initially planned on using my last movie ticket to watch "Space Battleship Yamato"!!! It's a sci-fi, yes, but there's also Kimutaku and Kuroki Meisa! But then I don't think I can use my free ticket on it ><" So...I'll see how it goes tomorrow. Sigh.

In Singapore Marina Bay Sands (MBS) ^^

It's my first time watching a musical in MBS, but then it's also the very first musical that they have! Usually, the musicals will be shown in Esplanade instead.

Ok, so the MBS theatre looks kind of like that of the Esplanade. I was somewhat disappointed as I was hoping to see a different kind of architectural design. But then, how much can a theatre design vary if space constraint is a significant issue to tackle. ><" But then, I would say that the MBS theatre has more leg space (Good for long-legged people like SY ^^), so it was generally more comfortable.

I guess I haven't been watching musicals in Singapore, but throughout the entire musical, I was wondering if I have to pay for the programme booklet. I was curious about the casts, especially the kids acting as lion cubs Simba and Nala. They can sing really well, and I wanted to find out more about them, and to see if they're the understudies for the original casts. Back to the programme booklet. Until now, I still haven't figured it out. But I really wanted a programme booklet then... T__T

Musical was awesome. Joejoe said that it's similar to the Hong Kong Disneyland one, but I beg to differ. The casts are definitely better, and the whole effect/feel is different in a magically good way. Many touching scenes, and I must especially commend the performers for Timon and Pumbaa. Personally for me, they've stolen the spotlight for the whole musical with their endless entertainment and wit. ^^

What can I say? Please go watch the musical, if you'd like something magical ^^

And I've satisfied my 'craving' to hear African language (According to wiki, it says that Zulu is used in the performance, but because I'm not sure since I really cannot tell apart the African languages, I shall not claim that it definitely is Zulu. But then, it is highly likely ^^)

After the pineapple upside down cake, I suddenly have this urge to make full use of my in-built oven. I guess it stems from my not having an oven for over 20 years and then *poof!* a working (and pretty decent) oven suddenly appears in the new apartment. I've been dreaming of making full use of it every Friday afternoon (or morning if I've no class) - desserts, savory foods, even baked meals! ^-^

Anyway, ambitions aside, I spent my Friday afternoon making umeshu chocolate truffles. I'm not sure if I got it right, but it seems like truffles are made from chocolate ganache (or so the few sites that I've visited said so). So I 'shaved' my bar of chocolate, add in simmered heavy whipping cream flavored with CHOYA natural non-sugared shiso to make my ganache. Then I stored it in the fridge, intending to roll truffles ball-balls out of the bowl of ganache ~2hrs after cooling.

...But I slept (T-T). So I didn't manage to bring any chocolate truffles for J whom I met for dinner. Went home to complete my chocolate truffles after dinner, and no, I didn't shape them into round ball-balls. Mostly because I don't think I want to be in too much contact with the truffles (People are going to eat it!)

Though not the shape I wanted, I think they turned out pretty decent. Definitely more umeshu should be added, since I taste only chocolate. To quote Ah ma, 没有层次感 (T-T):

OK, I'm being biased here - I've only been looking at 大野くん and 二宮くん. Uwaaa~ The way they sing the high pitch "Aaaaa~". Initially I thought it was only 二宮くん, but then 大野くん did that too! Their voices aren't that similar, but not too different too, from the PV. But then I think that 大野くん does hold that "Aaaa~" better than 二宮くん. Still, my heart went kyun~ when I saw that part of the PV. Needless to say, I've replayed that part a couple of times /(^-^" )

And then, and then, 大野くん had to sing the "Woahwoahwoaaaaaah~" part too, and that was even better! There's not much point in just writing about all these if I don't show pictures, so I shall and let them speak for themselves. 
 

Right, I shall stop being biased and start being rational. Let's talk about the song...it's pretty normal, not exactly something that I will take a liking to immediately. But then slowly, the song grows on me. And watching the PV - though normal but with a lot of dance moves compared to the previous few PVs - makes me like it even more. It's really not the song, or the lyrics alone but the presentation of the whole package. \(^-^)/

Hahahahahaha xD Feels GREAT! I haven't written such a post, or taking sceenshots etc for such a long time that I've kind of forgotten what it feels like to be able to do these. And now that I am able to, I'm not only relishing every moment of this, I'm also reminding myself to not forget to do this once in a while, to be able to talk about 大野くん and 二宮くん and 嵐 and 大野くん and 二宮くん and 嵐 and 大野くん and 二宮くん and 嵐... :P (It's not like I dislike 松本くん、相葉くん and 桜井くん; I just don't talk much about them because I'm biased towards 大野くん and 二宮くん)

Yosh! Body & Disease starts Monday. I shall work hard, but shall also constantly remind myself that there are also other important things that I should not neglect (to quote Sweswe), and to enjoy myself to the fullest be it school or play. ^^ Yay!

...That restoration worked, and all my documents were recovered.

...That the new OS is safely installed, making the gadget better than before.

...That my brother helped me find the new OS, and do all the installation and stuff.

...That in turn, I was able to help S and D in setting up and sharing the OS respectively.
