...I think I should really stop procrastinating and finish up with 8-day Japan trip posts.
However, LJ has kindly informed me that I don't have any more storage space left to upload photos. (T_____T) So, after this Day 5 post, I have to find other ways...somehow ><"For now though, I've created a new LJ account ![[info]](https://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
potatoos_1 for me to continue posting photo entries. I haven't thought of how this will work out - whether I will post only photos there while I write here, or to post my entries there (words and photos). One thing's for sure, my "active" account will remain as this, and the other LJ account will just be like extra storage.
UPDATE: Ah Yen is so smart! I shall be trying out Photobucket instead! (^-^) Sankyuu, Ah Yen!
Anyway! Started playing with clay again for the past few days, 嬉しいな〜♥ Before that though, I was engrossed in reading GANTZ. Not that I've lost interest in it now, but to change from feeling eww to ... whenever I see some flying heads is definitely not a good sign. Thus, to prevent myself from becoming desensitized to such graphics, I've decided to stop reading it for a couple of days and continue on my personal projects.
Ok, on to Day 5 of the trip!

Day 5: Hakodate & Sapporo!
27 June, 2010
Checking out of our hotel in Hakodate (^-^) Kirei na~
Busy fish market at Hakodate! HUGE crabs *drools* and ice-cream from Hokkaido milk. Sadly, I didn't try either... (T___T) But I had a wonderful breakfast of grilled fish, RICE, miso soup, tofu and a variety of pickles! ♥ 美味しかったよ。
And then we decided to explore the area a little. On the way to the bay area, there're pretty (Christmas?!) trees lining the walkway! TeeKayWhy is right, 每个背影都有一个故事. Which basically means there's a story behind each person's back.
Preeeetty right? (^3^) I really like the sky and waters in Japan. There's "Calm" written all over them.
And this is a sculpture found by the bay. Guess what it is!

Everyone looks at me weirdly, but it really is 3 sotongs 'dancing' in the sea!
Hell Valley - land of Onsen!♨ We entered the Hot Spring National Park; see the sulphur? It smells like sulphur too (rotten egg odour) ><" But we met really nice Obaasans who gave us tiny Japanese flipflop handphone charms that she made herself! \(^-^)/
On our way out of Hell Valley, we saw these trees. Uwaa~ they win the AA trees hands down.
Then we had lunch at this tiny ramen shop owned by this smiley Obaasan. I had Shio ramen, but because I had a 500ml carton of Hokkaido fresh milk before that, I didn't manage to eat it in the most enjoyable way. I managed to finish it after a very long time though... ><"
Sapporo TV Tower - in the afternoon, in the evening, and at night! (^-^) Haha, I have to point out something Eezaii said when I showed her my trip photos. When we came to this, she said it's a good example of how different perspective changes how things look. Ne? It's the exact same thing, yet the evening shot looks so much more dreamy.
And we decided that the sky in Sapporo looks so much nicer on 'film' than in real life. Sky in the afternoon, and sky at dusk! I really like how the clouds looked like cotton balls and stacked layer by layer on top of each other in a curved path.
Checked into our hotel. This is the nicest and biggest hotel during our whole trip. But it's not as heartwarming as the Tokyo one, even though I slept a lot better in this because every one of us had our own beds.
After that we went exploring a little, since it's already late afternoon when we arrived. Of course, if Arashi has concerts in Sapporo, it has to mean that they're pretty well-known there too right?

Ta-daa~ v( ^ - ^ )v I really like this au by kddi ad!
Sapporo Ramen Yokocho - the famous ramen street. Do note that there's 2 - the original one and the new one. The original one is opened-air, that's the main difference, and the hotel staff recommended this too! We didn't enter the shop where Arashi members (probably) ate ramen - so did SMAP, jrock groups, probably more Johnnys... - because those were pretty crowded. So we settled on Hikuma Ramen. Uh...the taste is...maa maa (T______T)
Of course, this doesn't satisfy my ramen craving, so we had ramen again at Sapporo Yokocho the following day (Day 6), but let's leave that for my post on Day 6! (n___n)
That's from me for tonight!
